Anyone know of any yank 3.5 ecoboosts in the UK. ?

Guy on YouTube has one, but doesn’t reply to messages! Lol.

Saw one for sale on eBay too. But it was set up like a camper and I want a normal panel van.

Why don't you contact a firm that imports American vehicles ?

I have, but they struggle when it comes to commercial vehicles. Most don't want to know, others quote crazy figures to put you off. lol

They got back to me. Basically said it wouldn’t be easy due to plated weight etc etc.

Might look into transplanting an ecoboost into a UK van.

How hard can it be? Will definitely be able to source a crate motor in the US no doubt.

If you could buy a crash damaged van from the US that would be ideal.
You'd know all the parts required are there to make the transplant work.

Not many used 3.5 Ecoboost panel vans for sale, looks like not not many people buy them. The car version looks more common in 310 hp form.

I was thinking of a UK transit and a 3.5 crate motor from the US.

Should be a lot cheaper / easier than importing a full vehicle?

Yeah I think it’s a common lump.

Plenty in the transit and f150 over there.
