As an aside I was phoning around winch "specialists" the other day after managing to break the freespool mechanism on my winch (an old superwinch S5000 that was fitted to my truck when I brought it) and was told by one that it was a "toy" winch, not upto the job that would only pull 3/4 of a ton on, the same day that it had dragged a Rover 620 on half full of cast plates and minus its front hubs

   Gotta love some of the 'proffesionals' advice

You finished clearing that bit of land now? bet that was a nice little earner 8)

i gotta be honest It's getting tough to get the scrap cars at the moment, The amount the big yards are grabbing and dragging in without stripping anything is crazy

I dropped a few of my 'stripped ones' in today and there was a transporter with 9 cars dropping of 4/5 year old mondeos and golfs, must of been insurance scrap or something, still with everything on, even the 17/18' alloys
I was absoulutly gutted :| all those ebay parts to be crushed
