Sync 3 Audio Off

Hello all,

Just purchased a second hand 2019 Transit Custom. Sync 3 wont turn audio on. All works as it should, phone connects, apple car play works but just cant get and sound. Done the latest update, have pulled the fuse, had the ACM out and back in but still no audio. Is there anything i've missed or is the ACM gone or could it be the APIM?

Went through something similar a few months ago.

APIM is the brains of the screen but doesnt do audio. that's done by the unit in the dash behind the screen. I pulled it out and found it had liquid damage, someone spilled a drink on the dashboard and it worked its way down into the radio module and killed it.
