Why does the thread title say “m sport”?

I read on another forum they’re the same height as msport springs or something not sure if that’s true but I’m more interested if anyone’s fitted them on here or not and if its too low or just takes the gap down a tad!

m sport lowering springs?

Postby seikokid » Wed Jan 02, 2019 12:29 am

i fitted the rear leafs to a new shape 18 plate and it lowers the van 30mm. even though they told me 40mm

i bought mine direct , springs en route so will post once the fronts done

M sport use either eiback 40mm or reiger 60mm leaf and front springs depending on how you want your van to look

eiback are rated at 1000kg over the reiger which are rated at 600kg

They are not standard spec m sport parts and are thus available for public to buy.

Thanks pal do you have a link to where you bought them, so far I’ve just found the modyourconnect website that offer the two front spring options and the lowered rear leaf!

I messaged the guy and he replied "The front end is much improved , the rear stays the same but sits lower"

Hi Seikokid,

Was thinking of just lowering the rear of my custom sport (facelift) as the front looks fine as I've got a set of O.Z 20s fitted. The current gap in the front arch is 55mm and the rear is 105mm.
How did lowering the rear effect the gap between the axle and bump stops? as there is only a 25mm gap at the moment. Did you have to cut a ring off the bump stop?
Lowering by around 30mm will make it look sweet

So this set also fits the new custom (facelift).

I'm thinking of lowering my van, but but first put my 20 Bola b20 wheels. Then I decide if I want to lower only the back or also the front.

When they say lowers 30mm for example is this for an unlaiden vehicle or from its current ride height?

Err unladen. Unless they’re mind readers and know how much weight each individual client has in their van

when lowering the back you have to cut down the bump stops on any of the years or models.

i recommend upgrading the rear dampers as it takes the bounce out of the rear and gives it some stability.

fyi. any of this modification only works well when you have at least 200kg in the back. so if you drive an empty van or have a DCIV then i’ve found you need to dial down the dampers. but this depends as i have both eibach leafs and also straightened ones from the guys in birmingham. they behave differently and also change when van is laiden or empty
