OEM tow bar install electrics not working custom 2017

Hi
I have a 17/18 custom full limited spec, I've installed a new OEM Bosal tow bar with 13pin electrics and short loom to connector plug. I've plugged loom in etc to corresponding plug near spare wheel, yet none of the trailer electrics are working, any advice on what im missing or the problem could be?
Im also assuming the van is fully wired for trailer is because there is the connector plug by the wheel, is this correct?

Hi. I’m not sure but I think ford have to activate the electrics. Not to sure if you can do it yourself.
