I woudn't blame me ACC unit for that.

Standard Custom heating is very good, I hardly ever touch the temp control once it's warmed up. As you say the MK7 was shocking at keeping the temp stable.

Interesting.

It's good on the other hand though. The custom will perform like my mk7 in the heating department. No surprises here

Hopefully it will work better because mine is fitted from factory (including aux heater with twin batteries). No hopes though....

Well, like a said, mine aux heather, or the park heather function has given up. It wont start on timer. Have twin batterys, connected one of those smart chargers to both batteries and it said that both are about 75% charged. Booked a time at dealers but its 3 weeks away and tonight had -19C outside :)

You will have the answer within three weeks.
I'm having one in my euro6 which is ready to pickup around that time.

So apparantely you can't add the ACC to the euro6?

f*** this sh*t, I'm so tired of not getting what I'm ordering and paying for.
Why does it seem like I'm the only one in Sweden that knows ANYTHING about transits?

Air con is manual. Climate control is automatic, ie you set your desired cabin temp and the climate makes the necessary adjustments to achieve and maintain your chosen temp.

So... Are these any good? I've had a read through and still undecided!

It's 50/50 to whether they are good , in still experimenting with mine. Initially on auto you will get the heat but after a while it assumes the ambient temp is higher than it is and thus blows cooler air out
Just having it on manual is worse in that it needs to be cranked up to give you heat

I like a steady flow of air . like having the fan on 1 and temp just under half
Too much hot and I feel uneasy. So for me it's fine and when I'm cold I turn it up on auto and have some vents closed

It's nice that in the cold mornings it auto adjusts the fan speed and heat to get the cab just right and also in the heat you can hit the auto A/C and get blasted by cool air and then it turns the fans down

Take from it what you will , I was forever adjusting the manual dials, I prefer the auto. Albeit it isn't Mercedes quality
