Oh no that is an endeavour fraught with problems, legal issues, health and safety issues, misunderstanding of the rules and regulations, inexperience of towing such a contraption. Risk assessment qualifications, cpc, taco regs drivers card, planning permission to park it at home.

Nah man it reaks of death :(

Joking aside, my licence covers me to tow a trailer and a combined van and trailer at 8.25 tonnes (or something like that)

But I can drive a 7.5t rigid but need to do cpc.

Bloody. Dotgov

I have my truck licence long before your ass was as big as a shirt button Loot and furked am I doing cpcs for some whippersnapper to tell me how to drive and look after a truck when I have done it all my life

Got mine in 95, drove 7.5 lorries in work before Any of the cpc came in force then my grandads rights ran out in 2014 but boss man binned them off in favour of the Dailey flatbeds with trailers 14-15m in length at a guess  , which are longer and heavier than the 7.5 but don't require the 'o' licence, or the 6 weekly inspection, or cpc or records.
To my knowledge.

You could probably rig something up, although if you have reversing sensors you'll need to turn that off somehow, also consider whether positive switch or negative switch for the lights but at worse you'll need another relay for input but probably not.

Mk7 bypass relay are like 7 quid aren't they? Use 1 of those on it.

I paid 130 for my factory fit kit.

Drove on since and I haven't checked the pass fluid, need to get my fat head under there for a look but will keep the fluid spare in the back and wait for it to whine again.

See there's a formula to determine the rate of fluid loss without looking.............
