Upgrading the loadspace lights

Postby V1llage 1d1ot » Sun Dec 09, 2018 9:42 pm

Hi there. Just joined the forum so apologies if this has been covered before.
My 2015 L2 H2 Transit has really poor loadspace lighting and I’m looking for a brighter option.
I’ve seen these as a direct replacement but wondered if there was anything else I should look at?https://provanled.com/product/provan-200/?model=259&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIy66UsfOS3wIVgeJ3Ch3tUw4kEAQYASABEgKjB_D_BwE

Any 12 LED lights can be used, if you are prepared to cut the wires to the existing ones and connect up your new ones. I did. Of course they might get funny about warranties!

Yes that’s not something I would do. I did tick the upgrade when ordering the van but they never put it on, but said they would either have it done at their cost or give me my money back. But they wanted the van for a day and by that time all my stuff was in it

I have just fitted the above to mine, easily twice as bright as my previous amazon bulbs, so i am happy with them. But I also have 2 very bright magnetic rechargable led spots from BRITALITEZ for those occassions when i can keep my van contents hidden from passersby or need to work out the back of my van.

If it’s for the load Bay I.e in the back of the van then it’ll be fine. There are no warnings on interior lights as far as I know

Ive just fitted 2 lengths of 12v 5m led tape (ribbon) in the back of my XLWB and wired it into the rear load lights. Low current draw so not a problem. Nice and bright. Have done this with all my vans now

looking at it its £8 for 5m on amazon
