Transit MK6: unfinished swap of the 2.4 TDDi engine on the B

The following thread appeared on the Polish portal Elektroda, but unfortunately the author milosz_wwl - despite his great advancement - did not finish it. It is not known whether he finished the work, whether he resigned or whether he is still alive... It's a pity, because the scope of the work was impressive. Thus...:

Hello everyone.
I will try to describe my struggles with the engine swap in the Mk6 Transit.
By default, the car had a 2.4tddi 90 HP engine, but as expected, the injection pump failed. Due to the general condition of the engine (leaks, etc.) and low power, I did not want to invest in it.
This is how the idea of swapping the engine for something less faulty and more powerful was born. The choice fell on the M57D30 from BMW.
I left the gearbox from the Transit because the BMW gearboxes have shorter gear ratios.
The m57 adapter for Transit mt82 2.2 is available in the UK but I wasn't sure if it would fit and it costs £500.00.
photo 1: I designed my own adapter, which I burned on a laser from 10mm sheet metal.

To connect the Ford flywheel with the BMW crankshaft, I drilled a 260 mm hole in it.

Then a few holes

And the flywheel is ready

The clutch is ready to install the gearbox
I made the clutch head mushroom 7mm longer
I turned the rear support of the box, which moves it back by about 50mm
And the engine sits

The front belt fits and there is about 70 mm left in front of the shaft pulley for the radiator

Well, a year has passed - and we don't know how this story continues.
Pity... :?: :(

The first BMW V8 engine in the Transit was installed by Marcin Wicik (in Poland), he called it Drift Bus (2011). Marcin Wicik is a famous competitor and Polish Rallycross champion. He also has a large company selling parts for Transit.

As for the above thread - I think that the project has not been completed, the owner has probably lost his strength when it comes to engine accessories and electronics.
