Just wanted to introduce myself, i recently bought a Solid little MK6 T300 SWB Ex BT Van with a whole 75PS
Reason for buying the van is because me and the Mrs are hopefully moving into our first house soon and i thought it would be better to buy a van so i have it as and when i want and for how long i want as this will include a couple trips into wales to collect furniture. I found it listed on Ebay by an older couple who had started turning it into a Camper so it came with a Flip bed/sofa frame and new mattress, Cupboard with Sink and Hob so my thoughts were i dont think any one would be putting effort into a Rotten Van, so a quick trip to go and buy it and it was mine.
So over my last week of ownership i have:
Claybarr'd and cleaned the van, it is now White again!
Found the cause of my Knockin (Rear/Centre/Torque mount) mates fitting this tomorrow, we also had a look under the Van while on his Ramps, and it is Solid, all the weldingit has ever needed has been done
i have also found how painfully slow the 75BHP Engine is
so i will be asking questions regarding a slight bit of Tuning, i have heard of VanTuner but the Van is my Daily but i need it daily so posting option isn't an option and he is miles away. ideally looking for another mapper or a tuning box etcThanks!
It will be well worth your time as he is the very best, and will coax power out of that little 75ps that you didn't think was even possible.
