We live in Bristol & have just bought a 2003 Mk6 Transit Touren mini bus which we will turn into a camper/day van. got a few niggles with it, the heater light on the dash sometimes flashes & reduces the power also, sometimes everything just cuts out then is ok on the re start! Can't find my OBD tool at the moment either! Looking forward to fixing it!!

Those smoothing point to a faulty fuel pump edc.

600 quid or more for a pump, I hope it isn't that though.

Oh bugger! It's MOT'd till December, hope it keeps going till then, I'll see what it needs for the MOT before I splash that sort of cash!

Worth getting the codes read and hope it is a wire or sensor fault but most of the time it is that

2003 tourneo now is that the 125 2.0L tdci or is it the tddi engine?

Me never as one of the main brains of the forum making you look silly would be nion impossible I was just asking as 52 was when the wonderful tdci's hit the market so an 03 could be either

You did draw a good point though, yes stupid loot making wild accusations about it being a tddi and the fuel pump being faulty when it could be a tdci and then it may be injectors playing up.

Hmm fault codes would help wouldn't they.
