2012 Transit Connect 2.0L DTC traction Light code C1109-64

Good morning everyone. I am getting a Vehicle Dynamic Control Switch - signal-possibility failure (C1109-64). Vehicle seems to be driving fine, but recently the brakes have been getting hard suddenly, as if I was loosing vacuum to the Brake boster. Any ideas?
