Hi I've got a question about a 2005 ford transit conect does the instrument cluster need programming as I've got no milage but the rev counter and Speedo all work and it's like that on 2 instrument clusters.ive got.thanks everyone

This happens to ford instrument clusters made in certain years ...the spare one probably gone the same way.

see video, yes know its not connect ...but shares some similarities. towards the end of the video he shows your fault

it's bad circuitry in the cluster ..as far as i know. dry joints, and the use of lead free solder etc

the mileage will still be stored ..its just display errors

No. If you have an identical binical unit, it does not need to be coded in. The original milage of the previous vehicle will probably still show, but I believe that with the use of Forscan, you can reset it, though I have never done that myself. The van will even run without a dash cluster, although illegal on the road.
