Sync update on Transit Connect

Hello

Has anyone updated their sync 1 on the connect ?

I have downloaded the sync update on the Ford website followed the instructions but the van is not reading the data from my usb.

Wondered if anyone had had any luck ?!

My understanding is that Sync isn't updatable by USB on UK market vans?

Don’t you have to put the vin into the sync update website?

Yep you do but still hasn’t worked after many attempts

Is st still the same with SYNC updates for UK vehicles? I'm trying to find someway of downloading an update to USB but the website keeps directing me to book a service.
