REAR SEATS

I have just bought my first 2010 connect after many years in the VW T5 camp and am looking at putting some quick release seats in the back along with a load of other mods, can I chuck in any seats or do they need to be from a connect? I am happy with a bit of welding and assume if I get some generic seats as long as I can get them in and put spreaders in that will work?

any help is much appreciated
