MK7 Power window switch relocation... anyone done it?

Hey folks!

I did a few really long trips lately with my MK7, (2000km+) and found the location of the window switches -really- uncomfortable on long drives... my knee comes to rest right on the 'bubble' the switches are housed in. I can't be the only one with this problem, but has anyone done anything about it? I'm swapping the speakers soon, so I'll be taking the door cards off anyways, and am wondering if anyone found a well working solution for this issue?
