Postby littlespoon » Wed Dec 12, 2018 11:11 pm

Hi, is it possible to remove the fuel pump without disconnecting the fuel lines to access the coolant sensor ?

Would it not be easier to remove the thermostat housing rather than the fuel pump...?? The temp sensor is in the thermo housing, yes..??

The fuel pump has a solid high pressure line on it which goes to the middle of the fuel rail.....so I'd suggest it's not possible to remove the pump without removing the fuel line.

Hi Knobby, that would make sense, I could change the thermostat at the same time, might have been the reason for the sensor malfunction
