You do realise that you've just set off a chain of events that will result in us all floating off into space :(

The lone survivor is not happy with you not happy one little bit. :(

I finished these of and now all ready for welding, has anyone else made their own?
Was a bit of a job trying to bend 2mm zintec with a machine mart £60 sheet metal folder! I think I pushed it to its limits.

It’s the first time I’ve done anything as complex as this so any virtual pats on the back welcome

The rest ant too bad to be honest especially for a 2002 mk6 with 320,000 on the clock, the actual rear spring hanger metalwork only has surface rust so I could of just patched the rest but that’s not my style, I was amazed how much sand and crap that had filled up within the rear inner sill it gets in there from the holes in the rear door pillars, from years of shovelling loose sand and crap in the back, I even found two 8” lengths of copper pipe in there so f### knows how.

Yesterday, finished off welding in 2 new inner wheel arch tubs, repaired 2 holes in the load bay floor, fitted 4 new injectors and coded them in. All in all a good few days work. Just got to underseal it all after it's been through the mot.
