Hello, I'm trying to take a little play out of my steering box. The nut I have found looks different to examples on YouTube for turning an adjuster nut so I'm wondering if I'm not looking at the right thing. Can anyone advise please?
Cheers

Power steering rack?
it's hard to tell with all the rust inhibitor around it :)

Play in the rack is usually wear in the track/tie rods or the track rod ends.
all replaceable

Every one of my Mk4/5s had the rack loose on the subframe - 1 had even had new rod ends fitted by the garage doing the MOT shortly before I bought it, which shows how well they checked it after .....
