1999 heater control panel lights.

Any one found a way to replace the two bulbs in the heater panel, the later rotary control one. I can get my fingers to the bulb via the slot under the radio but not a cat in hells chance of turning them.

Just checked haynes.
step 1. remove engine.
step 2. cut suitable size hole in bulkhead.
step 3. reach in to replace bulbs.

They rate it at 3 spanners

Seriously? Ask for this work pickpocket ...

Looking at new bulbs, fit tightly to the bulb holder soft (but strong) plastic pipe of adequate diameter (long about 4-5inch), it can be good tool to do it - to turn bulb and take it out...

Undo the screws holding the panel in place and there is enough slack in the cables to move it to a better position.
