Idiots, what you going to do, stick it through its MOT anyway or wait till the screen is done?

This is not good for my mental health :(

New window is Friday, mot Monday, I didn't want any advisories ffs which will be window and pas leak no doubt, despite me buying the seal kit for 10 quid and the sealant. And having booked the glass replacement, you'd think a professional company would expect to know what they need or be able to find out from the reg or hold both in stock, I know my lane assist camera is not on every van but fook sake.

I could say well I left it too late etc so I guess yes I'm an idiot but I didn't want to call the insurance because I always expect them to rip me off in the end or come and see the window and say no mate you did that blah blah blah so I was spurred on in the last days before mot but still.

I found some of that carbon vinyl wrap that I did the mk7 in and I'm going to attempt to make a sun blind for the bottom of the screen to cover the glass
He'll probably laugh at me and call me a cnut but what choice do i have :( it is very brittle too and it is raining and windy out :x

And also is it me or does anyone else feel like they have to empty their stuff out of the van before it goes to the garage?

I've had stuff taken before, not theft but the odd tool which winds the sh*t out of me.

Don't need this in my life lol a friend of mine says we attract things that happen to us

I never bother emptying mine for the MOT, just glad they don't weigh the van  they don't have a reason to go in the back anyway.

So my vinyl crap attracted no attention at all and nothing said about the 3 foot crack in yey windshield.

But it failed in the rear tyre as it has cracking, although that was actually cut to shreds in the crash from catching the metal as it bent.
And it failed on drivers wiper blade which I knew might as there was a 1 cm streak in middle as it cleared.
And an advisory on slow leak at steering rack. Which will go on record I guess :(

I need to go get a wiper blade and swap the spare which is a steel and I hope the same size tyre :?

Fingers crossed

What a fookin cnut of a bast*rd carry on, banging headache but I'm done, advisory slight seepage from component steering rack.

That Ford scissor jack is going in the bin ffs had a try but no, had to shoot to work to lift the van with the forklift truck.

Can't be arsed driving any more too much hassle and too many knob heads on the road you can't move
