Mk7 Rwd bit (Collection Only)

Postby motorman116 » Sun Jul 03, 2016 9:08 am

I have the following items taking up space in the flat...

MK7 Rwd 6 speed gearbox. (brought from t2myd for my old 2.4 mk7 of which I no longer have, was mentioned that its only covered 83.000 miles)
6 speed Lwd prop shaft.
6 speed gear selector / cables

As mentioned in the header / subject collection only, as I have a full time job and at home, I look after my disabled wife.....

It's more than likely that I'm wrong, but I had the impression that they used the same box for all of the 6s RWD, as there were one or two members who had had remaps on their 200ps, that were finding that the standard box couldn't take the extra power when pulling weight (and probably a lead right foot!) :?

Maybe Ford solved the issue by fitting a different box later
Where's Paul2012 when you need him to check :P
