Forscan cable.......Driver problems....vLinker FS ELM327

Just thought I'd post this if anyone else is struggling with their cable not connecting to the vehicle.
I have the ELM327 suggested on here to use my forscan. Irs been a nightmare with me sometimes not being able to connect at all, then sometimes it works.
It's suggested that it's driver problems with these clones.

After reading a different forum, I bought and tried a vLinker FS. Had to go on their site to download some drivers, but it worked straight away.
And has worked on trying a few times.

Just thought I'd suggest it if anyone else was close to tears trying to get their clone dongle to connect.

I have never had problems with my cheap ELM327 (Switch) but I always set the COM port and baud rate manually, did you try that?

No I haven't. Hopefully it won't make it work as I hate to waste money.

There seems to be so many people struggling with driver issue that I thought I'd post the thread.
I try it and update.
