Non Start When Engine Hot MK6 2.4TDDi

Hi Team, Engine starts first time when cold however when hot and turned off and after around 2 minutes spins over fine but wont start, here is the best bit if you pore cold water over injection pump for around 20 seconds the engine starts first click, have tried around 10 times and always starts no cold water and wont start, any ideas please van is a 2003 2.4 TDDi 90ps RWD. PS: have changed Crank Sensor.

Sorry for late reply, Lord Knobrot, no fault codes and scanned with Forscan, thing is left over night starts ok in morning and runs great all day even when you pour cold water over pump and then it does start again runs perfect all day,

Getting DTC CODE P0149

P0149 is the timing solenoid on the pump failed.
