Warning light hack

Postby andypdq » Wed Apr 03, 2024 9:59 pm

The first Mk 6 mechanical TDDI, giving electronics the finger, since April 2013

Perfection is reached, not when there's nothing left to add, but when there's nothing left to remove.

Isolate the LED warning light from the instrument cluster PCB, wire the circuit output to the isolated LED, observing the correct polarity, it's a diode  , wire the power to the circuit to switched live, components cost less than £1.00.

WARNING: Hacking any warning light will result in almost certain death, don't do it!.
